Private Limited, one of the pioneering pharmaceutical
Houses of Eastern India, started its operations
in the year 1940. The company was initially
called Standard Medical Research Institute.
Under
the able leadership of the Founding Father,
Late. Gour Gopal Saha, the organisation
earned the reputation of not only being
one of the pioneers, but also one of the
most innovative and competitive organisation
in the Eastern Region.
The organisation changed it's name to
STADMED PRIVATE LIMITED in the year
1951. and set up its FACTORY at Dumdum,
in KOLKATA, in the state of West Bengal
and still has its base there, where
formulation Manufacturing and Marketing
started in right earnest.
